Plug it into a USB port, and your computer should recognize it as a web cam.

have you tried to use the digital camera as a webcam yet wch1262?

I'm curious as to if it worked or not. And I'm also wondering if it would would with an older video camera with a USB connection.

Anyone know?

Not me, I have no need for a webcam, but if I did, they are inexpensive, and I would get one.

I use my video camera, for what it was intended. :wink:
