Xbox backup creator and 116d

Hi guys, first time user here so please be gentle :)

I have recently got a pioneer 116d drive and it burns my backups fine just using img burn...

However the problem is that xbox backup creator does not seem to pick the drive up when i open it. I have checked the error log and there is nothing in there either.

Does anyone know if this drive is supported by xbox backup creator or not? I have checked the web but cant find a list anywhere of supported drives... If it is not supported is there any way of getting around this?
