Just passing thru, in addition to attar's comments i have the following..

I can see you're trying to burn 3.4GB of data and this paragraph is saying that there's room for 4.4GB of data, that's fine.

(Medium in drive: Unknown. Medium required by compilation: DVD R/RW; DVD+R DL.)
However this paragraph states that the burner doesn't recognise the blank discs you're trying to use. This drive is a few years old now (which in itself is fine) and is now discontinued, which means there's no longer any 'firmware' being released; so basically this means the firmware on the drive, version 2.40 according to your logfile isn't equipped to recognise those particular discs. So as per attar's advice you should try some Verbatim.
I can't tell if there's any newer firmare than 2.40 btw.
Here's a couple examples of what the logfile would show if it can recognise (and thus use) discs correctly -

those are 16x -R discs, can tell this from the 'MCC 03 - RG20' code

those are also 16x -R discs, can tell this from the 'TTH02' code
As far as i'm aware this burner can (officially) write to 8x discs but can write to some 16x discs as long as the firmware has entries for them. So some 16x Verbatim discs should be fine.
