I'm hoping someone can answer my question since searching the forum hasn't. My question being.. is there any way to sort the games I've copied to my usbHD using USB Extreme? Specifically, alphabetical order?
Thanks
Hi
I really can't answer that Q but i was curious,
are you using that with a slim PS2 & how is it working out ?
I was thinking of getting a couple of these disc's with a couple of USB drives for my fat & slim PS2's so me and my son could just turn on and bootup without using SwapMagic disc's all the time.
If you just name them they don't sort automatically like files do under windows ??
Have you tried maybe numbering them ahead of their names ?
I'm using the fat ps2. It works well, but honestly, it's a lot slower than using the real cd/dvd. The movies/cut-scenes stutter and the load times seem to be a lot longer for some reason. It's convenient to have all my games in one place, but sometimes the load time isn't worth it. The game play is fine, once it loads.
No, they don't autosort and it doesn't matter what I name them, they are shown in the order I installed them.
usbextreme is the last resort on a fat ps2; the usb connection is only usb1.1. get a internal IDE hdd, network adapter and hdloader, and it'll be faster than the actual disc.
