When using cdex 1.51 under windows vista I use normalization. On this one cd I have, Paramore - All we know is falling, there are pops in most of the tracks when they are normalized but when I turn normalization off then the pops go away. Is there anyway to normalize this cd as I encode to mp3? Why does this happen?
I am using lame encoder using vbr 96-320kbps, quality=0, vbr method=default, vbr quality=2.

You might want to use MP3Gain on the ripped mp3 files after ripping in a normal way. MP3Gain can keep all your mp3's at the same level.
