I've looked loads of places for other people with the same problem but I've had no luck with this one.

I've tried burning the Manhunt 2 iso. using both DVD Decryptor and Alcohol 120%, onto Philips DVD-R, writing at x1. but every damn time Swap Magic (3.6) tells me that the ps2 disc is not valid.

Do a good thing today and help me out before I execute myself.

Is it blue text near the bottom of the Swap Magic screen that says the disc is not valid?

I would burn at 4x speed, but even more important, what is the MID (Manufactuer ID) of the Philips DVD that you are using?

If you don't already know you can use DVD Identifier http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
to figure this out

Edit: Actually, DVD Decrypter also gives you the Manufactuer ID
on the right side where it says Disc ID

It's not so much the brand of blank DVD as the manufacturer of the DVD.

Because I have seen that blue "this disc is not valid" enough times. My PS2 laser might be pickier but let me tell you I have never gotten a blank DVD with Manufacturer ID CMC MAG (CMC Magnetics Corp) to play.

One burn using the exact same settings on a better disc and it worked instantly.
