Hi guys i just having a bit of a problem getting this to connect to the wifi i can connect to the usb and play games that way but im unsure on how to get it to connect to wifi Every time i try the wifi light starts flashing on my psp and then it just stalls can some one please help me in not a noob just a bit unsure about this ?

first you have to go in /hostcore/conf.txt and set it to the ip number of the pc your running nethost or nethostfs.exe on
goto run command in the start menu and type 'cmd' now in the window prompt type in 'ipconfig' this should show what you lan ip is like '192.168.1.100'
then just press the music note and swicth it to wifi and you should be good.

well make sure you are useing http://dl.qj.net/HostCore-1.2-USBHostFS_...24530/catid/189 and check your ip to be sure its the right lan ip and like i said you have to open nethostfs.exe not the usb one

Hey there again yeah i am using the nethostfs.exe not usbhostfs.exe and i did what you said with cmd and it said the ip was 192.168.1.3 so i put that in the config.txt where it said 192.168.1.1 allready and still nothing ??? oh well its probley real simple just cant seam to get it working thanks for your help :)

only other thing it could be is your network wifi settings with either your router or psp but incase you use WPA there is a bug fix http://www.2alien.info/stuff/HostCore_1.2.1.tar.gz

cool so i downloaded that new one with the bug fix as i do use wpa protection Now when i try connect the nethostfs box shows
"listening for incomeing psp connections......
Accecepted new connection from ip192.168.1.2
adding multi-session for ip 192.268.1.2 BUT THE psp still stalls with the wifi light blinking and the wee Corehost icon that says wifi gets a black outline and the psp needs to be powered off dambit so close thanks for tht info about the bug fix that would have f**ked me till i found it lol DAMBIT still wont work i can connect to the net and things fine with my psp and play games online so i dont think there should be a problem with the network ?? if there is something wrong with the network what do you think it might be ??? thanks for your time :)
