Been trying all day to boot from a 1.44 mb Spinrite image to assess the damage of a failing hard drive. The BIOS recognizes the disk, spits out a few lines of text describing the program as an Intel Disk Utility, not Spinrite, lists what I think is my PC's mac address and a line ending in DCHP with the DOS equivalent of an hourglass spinning (-\|/-\|/-), before telling me that some file isn't present, says it's exiting, then displays "No bootable partition found in table." I'm told it could have been a problem in not specifying the disk as being bootable before burning it, but Nero has no such option. Ultimately, Nero or no Nero, I need to get Spinrite working while I still have a hard drive. If there is a general help forum for Spinrite anyone knows of, I'll gladly discuss it there instead so as not to hijack the forum.

Any and all help is appreciated.
