PS2 75001 Stopped reading back up dvd's

Hello,

This is the third time for this to happen, and everytime, I would think it is my Swap magic disk but it ends up that it is the PS2.

This time the PS2 doesn't read Swap Magic DVD. It reads Swap Magic CD only.
It can play regular DVD's no problem.

I tried the following:
I bought a new PS2, and swaped the laser between the new 79001 and the 75001. The laser is not the problem. Even with the new laser, it still didn't read the back up dvd's.

It is not the Swap Magic disk, as it work fine on the new 79001.

What is the problem, please help.
