How is the OS X disk called! so i can buy it...whats the difference between the OS X disk tiger and panther and the regular one?

Are you stupid? Mac OS X is like saying Windows. Each Mac OS X is a version that has been updated just like saying Vista, Xp and so on.

I meant to say if you plan on going down the legal route and purchasing from apple, call or go online and look for an education discount. You may need to give a student no. / If you fancy going down the illegal route you could always search piratebay.org for a torrent. Hope this helps
