Sorry may be stupid question. I am completely new to ripping. I ripped this dvd which is my friends and i cannot play movies from that dvd (it is original) Is there way back to repair the files. Know some of them are vob files some bup or ifo. And some are missing. What shall i do. It is original 'friends' dvd...

To be clear:are you saying that the original DVD is damaged and unplayable and you suspect it was caused by ripping it??
Ripping the disk is the same as playing the disk - but using software to copy the contents - you cannot damage it by ripping the contents.

If you are saying that the ripped files cannot be played - that is possible - depending on the software used to rip the disk.

Sorry, i figured it out, it works.One more question. Now when i rip it with dvd decrypter files become IFO and when i want to put them on itunes using Videora it doesn't recognize the file, videora recognizes only media files and on internet says it suppose to work. Maybe it is not a place to ask but if anyone knows....

With dvd decrypter put it in IFO mode with no file splitting. Select the episode you want under the 'input' tab. Under 'stream processing' select the first two (unless you want another language).It will come out as one file as a .vob I hope I helped
