Hi folks, apologies if this has been mentioned in another thread but I had to start this thread up as i'm totally stumped as to why for some reason when I import tracks from my i-tunes library to my i-pod all the tracks are for some reason jumbled up and in the wrong place, for instance track 1 will be where track 5 should be and so on. Yet the most annoying thing is that in my i-tunes library all my songs and albums are in their right place so why are they all over the place when I transfer them to my i-pod? It's really frustrating and if anyone has any tips for me it would be much appreciated thanks.

Thats odd, i never heard of that one before, but do the following, right click on the songs then click info and make sure they are numbered, there is a spot to number the tracks in an album, for example album x track 1 track 2 etc, if they are already number, try restoring the device on itunes. and see if that fix the problem, also make sure you have the lates firmware install. when your ipod is connected to itunes and in the main screen click check for undates. Good luck.

Hi thanks for your reply, i'll give it a go and hopefully this will sort the problem but I also have another query and if it's ok with you maybe you may know the answer to this one, here goes. Basically when I import my albums I always label them with a capital letter next to them to make sure the order is right e.g. A - ??? B - ??? C - ??? and so on. But lately what has been happening is my albums are all over the place like album A will be where album C is and so on. It's really confusing as I have restored my i-pod and always update software when prompted so I don't understand why this happens? Any help would be really appreciated and once again thanks for your help with my last problem!

Well Ituens is very dumb when it comes to recognising whole albums For example you have album by u2 all the sons from the same album, if you by accident add a charather to the son tittle or on the album field or even artist field, itunes see that as a new album by and entirely new artist, so i know is gonna be a pain but go thru all your songs make sure nothing is out of place. I will post some Photos to show what im talking about.
