Can't Get Codebreaker to work!

I dunno what it is that I am doing wrong but here's what I did...

I downloaded the ISO of Codebreaker 9.0, 9.2, and 10.
then I burnt them each to cds and dvd's each using Alcohol 120% using the PS2 option at the slowest speed.
Then I tried them all using SwapMagic 3.6 DVD rom for the DVD discs and it wouldn't load, then I tried the SwapMagic CD rom and still none of the Codebreakers would load or even come to the ps2 logo, just the Black screen. If anyone has any information at all please could you help me out thank you so much!

PS. I burnt some PS2 games and they worked, but codebreaker wouldn't? hmmm... weird...

heh. I wasted at least 12 cd's and 16 DVD's -.- ooooo yes I also forgot to mention that the DvD's that I used are DVD-R, and the CD's are Memorax CD-R

It is actually best to run codebreaker from a usb device or from your mc.
It won't work on a usb drive though if your PS2 is V14 or higher.

Even if you get some of those ISO that you downloaded to load with Swap magic, they all won't work.
There is certain codebreaker that need to be patched to work properly to play backups.

So its better to use the ELF application.
