I get this message when using SwapMagic 3.3 on a PS2 Slim. Without pressing any buttons whatsoever, if I give the swap disc the slightest touch when trying to remove it in order to put in the game I want to play, this message pops up and the disc begins to spin as if it wants to load up. The only way I can play games is by quickly nabbing the disc out and carefully dropping the one I want to play in. It seems like it's gotten more and more sensitive. So sensitive that now, it'll sometimes go through the 'trying-to-boot-up-but-not-really' sequence without me even touching it. Am I SOL? Do I have to buy a new PS2? Or is there a fix I can do to prevent this from happening? Thanks!

I used to get that error too but it eventually went away but I think it has to do with those clips that hold the discs in. if it's not inserted all the way or too far it always gave me that error, like for the SwapMagic DVD rom it has too be pushed in farther then you think and make sure all the clips snap in and the CD rom loader I dunno wtf the deal is with it, for me to get the cd rom to even load up I can't put the disc completely in, it has to be like lopsided to even work and load up. The games and movies all work though accept for one thing "Codebreaker" that's the only thing that doesn't work no matter what I burn it as or load it up with I get not a PS2 disc or it says Insert bigger TOC disc or just goes to a black screen.

If your using the Swap Tools to block the sensors, make sure they are properly in place. This can happen if you bump one by mistake.
