hi
ntl have recently hanged the cables in my area. they shut down the cable last night. when it came back today my strview will not update the channels even tough i think i have the lastest firmware. any solutions? thanks

EDIT
Menu > 1570
Turn "key emu" on
Exit back to channels.

Press menu > 1570
Go to "set default key" & press ok

Turn the b0x off at the back for about 20 secs, turn back on & set default key etc again.

It just sounds like a lazy update, go up one channel & see if it kicks in.

Can anyone tell me if there is a thread on getting RTE, RTE2, TV3 - I have everything else working. New to this, dont even know if Im posting in the right place!?

I've tried this and it still keeps saying data is being updated 0%..
some of the stations work but not all....
Help steve...
ps.. I have the latest 800e firmware...

Try powering the box off at the back for a few minutes and then back on, also try moving up a channel, just sounds like a lazy update.

What firmware and box are you using, Menu, System Information and post what it says, what does it say on top left corner front of box, have to be away shortly so try and be quick.

Well it should be updating, but if it is a recent box then I am aware that there is a batch recently out that is giving a lot of problems, because they are cheap components (Box Dicontinued) - so all I can suggest at the moment is for you to flash with the 7.09.

Also I presume it says 8.00e_E yes and not a single e, and the key UMU is ON.
