dvd shrink runs analyze and encoding on certain dvds, but only encoding on others?

so why does dvd shrink runs encoding on a movie after it just ran it? it does this on some movies and not on other movies.

was it because i unchecked everything that i wanted removed but left ac3 and english subtitles?

looked around couldn't find info on it.

so my question is my title, is this normal?
basically i use dvdshrink and when it "backup" it'll either run analyze and then encoding or just encoding.

was it because i unchecked everything that i wanted removed but left ac3 and english subtitles?

Sounds like some of your discs do not need compression therefore is does not analyze them.
