No audio when converting a DVD to AVI

Hello Folks
When I try and convert a DVD to AVI using Winavi9 the video turns out fne but there is no sound can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong and how to do it properley

AFAIK Winavi 8 is the latest.

Try AGK instead.
Open the dvd folder and load the main title (usually 'VTS_01_0.IFO').
Select the output path and the audio, subtitles etc.
Choose a custom output size, then 'Add Job'.
(you can choose another DVD to convert and add it to the job queue), Press 'Start' and let it run overnight.

Knowing the alternatives is always useful. SPAM Converter seems to have some very useful features. As regard me, I like its easiness.
