The ODs I'm using code out as ricohjpn, have gotten RiteK 03, and even the F16 variety. I use them for my daughter and give aways and tests. Good media-have not had any problems.I have about 400 on hand now. +Rs i.e. never tried -Rs

Well what he said !!! I've always gotten either Ricohjpns or Riteks of one stripe or another when I've bought Them ! And yes given my druthers I would Take Sony , Taiyo yudens Or Verbatims as a 1st choice media-wise !!! but Given the Price point .18 to .20 ish cents each ! it pretty decent media I 've still Got some of the old 8x Stuff OD/ riteks and they're still burning well and have'nt had problems with them so far ! They're Capable though perhaps not stellar media especially for he uses Garmoon mentioned - giveaways for the family / The Kids ect... so the little ones don't destroy the originals !burning another .20 cent disc beats buying another $15.00 to 25.00 movie in my book anyways !!!

BIGTOXY69- Hey that's me !!! I went to a local Officedepot & bought 2 50 ct. Tubs of Officedepot Brand DVD+R ( $10.99 ea. +tax ) That was all they had @ that one store ! Ironically They also had TDK DVD-R & DVD+R in 16x 100ct. spindles for $17.99 if I remember correctly A markdown or in store sale I imagine ! I shyed away from them ( TDK'S) as I know the newer ones are often Made in India and have'nt really had a good reputation lately .I did look at them though they are made in Taiwan & OD's website says they are actually made by Imation ? Who does'nt have that great a reputation either if I remember the post about them too correctly but thouht I'd mention it FWIW !!!! cheers !!!!!!

I'm going to pick up the OD brand, hoping for RICHOJPN. I've had both recently. I'm pretty pleased with the RICHOJPN, but haven't had much trouble with the ritek's either.
