DVD rip to match Scene Selection menu

On movie DVDs there is usually a menu that lets you pick scenes to watch. IOW, the menu allows you to start the viewing at different points in the movie. Is it possible to rip my DVD and convert my VOBs to avi so each file matches one of the scenes? For example, my DVD's menu breaks the movie into 34 scenes. I'd like to end up with 34 avi files that correspond with the way the menu divides the movie up.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Rip the DVD with DVD Decrypter.
Choose 'Mode' => 'IFO'
Select 'Input' tab and make sure that you split by chapter.
Deselect all the chapters then select chapter 1.
press the green arrow and save chapter 1 to a folder.
Deselect 1 and select 2.
Save it to the same folder but opt to change the name, else it will overwrite the first one.
Do this for all your chapters.

The output files can be converted to avi with the likes of 'AGK' which will allow the files to be added to a job queue and converted to individual AVI files in a batch.
