Converting X264 to TS or high res MPEG

I have a Samsung 750 Series tv which supports USB Video playback. The problem is it does not have the firmware to play X264 H264 files. The files must be converted to AVI TS or Mpeg 4(not sure which is HD in Mpeg format).

What programs do I need to convert these files to these formats to keep their quality? If there is a guide for this please send me a link I couldn't find one for converting these.
