Writing this wih a lot of hope, hope you guys can help me out. I am based out of India. I have a PS2 and recently purchased a 37 inch sony bravis lcd tv. Before this I was using a Sony Wega 25 inch tv...
Now when I connect my PS2 to the tv, I am facing a peculiar situation...
1) My fifa 2009 and tiger woods pga tour is being displayed in black and white,,,,
2) all other games are coming in color.
3) another point to note here is for hitman game, it starts of as black and white, at the start of the game, there is an option to change the setting from 50 hz to 60 hz. On doing that the color comes on.
4) Unfortunately for both the games fifa 2009 and tiger woods pga tour, this option is not available.
5) The same two dvd's if I play on my old sony wega it give me color, so the dvd cannot be the problem.
How do I get color, fifa is one of my favourite games and I swear on Jesus Chrsit that I am desperate to play the game on my LCD tv.......can some one please help me out.....
smoky thanks a ton for your reply,, but you will have to explain a little more,, you see the problem is I am not at all tech savvy,,,, i am a bit of a moron when it somes to gadgets...
The DVD FIFA 2009 cover has PAL written on it, which I am assuming is indicating that it is in PAL..
my tv is really one of the high end models and they should be able to display any of the color systems without any problems...
now which brings me to the console,,,,,lets assume that the console is in NTSC......
my question then is how come the same dvd works in color on my old tv....my old tv is sony wega.....
any thoughts mate,, I really appreciate all the help you have given
