Hi Folks,
I am new to this forum so bear with me if I make a faux pau.

Ok, this is an ongoing problem for me. I use various types of media players....Windows Media and VLC are the two I use most often.

Everything runs and plays great until I install Nero OEM Suite.
Once it is installed (ALL, ANY, EVERY) media player plays back videos very dark with a red tint.

At first I thought it was the media player....I have determined it to be NERO as the culprit.

And the worse part is, uninstalling Nero will not correct it. I have to completely reinstall WINDOWS. Nero seems to be putting something in the Registry that "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel does not remove.

Other Specifics: I run Windows XP Pro and the Nero OEM SUITE is a STORE bought disc a couple of years old.

I like Nero for what it does but not its side effects.
Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions?
