what is this? this screen pops up and asks for a third party activation. I get this when i try to burn an MP4

Nero uses a 3rd part app for certain features like mp4, using some features of Recode or Vision. The 3rd party requires the activation.
Once you activate it you set - it's usually pretty painless.

Not the version but it would check that your using a legit serial #.
