Is my MicroSD card reader broken?

Well I just bought a R4 from realhotstuff 2 weeks ago. When I tried to put microsd card reader in the computer, nothing popped out. The orange light is on and everything. Is my MicoSD card reader or MicroSD card broken? I can play roms on my ds just fine. Help is appreciated.

Go to My Computer and look for the microSD card.

Probably not if you can't read the microSD card and it's not the reader.
