hi there im having trouble converting my iso's to pal from ntsc ive followed loads of guides on the internet and had no luck basically it boots up to the playstation logo after that its all black screen and no sound

Never used one myself, but there's ISOs you can download online that you load up first, then pick what you want: NTSC or PAL, then insert your game CD after.

It's an extra step, but hey, if it works...

Do you by any chance have a PSP?
You can make the games run on that.
