Playing AVC-HD DVD on Panasonic DMP-BD30K.

This is my 1st post on your forum.
My Blu-ray player, Panasonic DMP-BD30K, will play AVCHD DVD created with Nero Vision but not Sony's DVD Architect 5 software. DVD Arch is a much better program overall (offers higher bitrates & more flexible menus) but for some reason it does something different causing the Panasonic DMP-BD30K to read ?Incompatible Disc?.
Overall it?s a true apple-to-apple comparison. I?m using the exact same data created with Sony Vegas Pro 8; setup the same 1st plays & main menus & then about a 9-minute montage (with one chapter) made from digital photos with music. The final disc size created are about the same with both but only the Nero disc will play.
To make matters worse I did a Nero 8 update that has my PC acting screwy. Now, I can?t get Nero Vision to work at all. Once I add data & go to the next menu it suddenly crashes without explanation. In the menu log it refers to MMTools failed as the last line. I think it?s a software clash with Windows Movie Maker codecs.
So, I was wondering if anyone else has had any success burning AVCHD DVDs & playing them with a Panasonic DMP-BD30K player?
Also, has anyone else used Sony's DVD Architect 5 software to create a AVCHD DVD playable on any type of Blu-ray player?
