Have you flashed the box with the required firmware (They come with FTA installed), if so then do a Factory Default on 6.952 and then a full powerscan on the same 6.952. If you have not flashed it then go to the link marked Eurovox at the bottom of my post and follow the guide, everything you need is there, courtesy of HiTeck.

Greetings,

Many of the channels I was receiving are no longer available, even after rescanning etc. Setanta, uk gold are all gone. I now only receive the basic channels. I have noticed a couple of things recently though:

1) a certain service provider has launched a high visibility tv campaign against pirate boxes, viewing unsubscribed channels and pirate box vendors.
2) on rescanning my channels my signal strength was around 83% but not static because it moved between 83 and 84%.

Does this mean that the service provider has moved to dynamic signal providing rather than static signal, and is there now line testing going on without householders knowing what is going on with the uploading and downloading of signals to and from their set top boxes, to ensure people are not using chipped boxes sold by their own staff for around £150.

Does it also now mean that with the re-introduction of some of SKY's channels to this service provider, they are protecting their investment by catching by illicit means as many pirate set top box users as possible.

These are worrying times my friends with a recession on. You would think you could take your mind off stuff with a bit of telly, nah the buggers will stop that as well. So, I keep getting the 'please wait while code updating' message but nothing happens. What to do.
