I have an expensive DVD set that I am using for a classroom. I have had students who have missed classes ask to borrow the DVD to catch up. I would like to make a copy of the set that I could give to students to borrow. Anyway, I am not a noob when it comes to this. I could go into my background but that is not what this is about. I have found a DVD that I can not copy. My usual process is to use DVD Shrink to produce an ISO. Then I burn from my hard drive with Nero. If I get a complicated disc, I use AnyDVD to handle protection. Since this error I have scoured this forum and have tried using 1Click, DVDFab & DVD Decriptor. 1Click actually told me the disc was protected and could not do anything with it. Then I ran AnyDVD and 1Click did not give me the error but still failed. The error is an I/O read error. The copy protection is doing something to make the system misread sectors on the DVD as bad. I have read about the protection but I don't know EXACTLY how it works. Also, I have tried to read this DVD with 3 different burners and all the softwares I mentioned above. SO, any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. I really don't like to fail. :) Sorry about the book.

Thanks!

UPDATE:
I downloaded FixVTS in the hopes that it might be able to help. Unfortunately, it only fixes DVD files that you have already ripped to your hard disc. I can't even get to that point.

I just wanted to post what I am trying from here on out. Mainly so you all know that I am not just posting here and expecting you to fix my problem.

Thanks,
