I have wireless internet with eircom as well, have 2 pcs and an xbox connected, the signal seems to be very erratic, i don't believe it is the pc though, i believe it is the eircom signal, because it happens to me on both pcs and the xbox goes down as well, even though that is a wired connection.

Does yours work fine for ages, then die out? Then come back on some time later?

I used to have that problem. You will find the problem either is:

You don't filter any phone lines in your hosue, and the interference is killing the modem

or

You do have it filtered, but you're unaware that you have a central filter (underground) which is pretty much filters the whole hose, thus you're filtering it to the point where it won't work.

I do have all the phone lines filtered, which i was told to do. I will try without the filters see if it improves anything. Thanks.
