I am using Steinberg Clean to rip all of my old vinyl's to .wav and then CDex for mp3 Lame compression (plus MP3Gain for normalisation). The problem is that, even though the finished product is'nt too bad, they all sound really 'thin' to me. Could anyone suggest a way to add more 'warmth and robustness' to the sound. I've been listening to CD's for so long that I'd forgotten how limited vinyl's and the technology that existed in their manufacture affected the sound.
