its a HD and a DVD/CD burner. I just wanted to know since their OEM what cables i will need to buy for them. Im building a system(first time) but i dont know what i need for these two. Thanks for the help.

You need an IDE cable, S-ATA cable, and power for the two drives. The power cables should be atttached to your power supply. If you have an old power supply you may not have the right power connector for the hard disk, in which case you will need to buy a Molex to S-ATA power adapter
