Ok so first off let me ask if this is possible. I don't have all of the equipment yet and want to save myself the headaches and money loss if it can't be done.

I have a PS3 and XBox 360 so whatever works better please let me know.

I want to be able to rip a blu-ray movie and place it on a networkable HDD. I want to be able to watch the movie on either platform without having my computer on. Stream the movie straight from the Networked HDD to my platform.

Is this possible? Also I want the quality to stay as best as possible (BD quality).

My network from the platforms to the N-HDD would be LAN based, not wireless.
