I have been using the vso divxtodvd for a while now. But recently almost all of my downloaded movies are having sound syncing issues. Do you know where I can look for a fix? Also when I use it I noticed my pc looses time on the clock. Any ideas?

Sounds kinda wierd to me. Is it only losing time when you use DivxtoDVD? If it loses time continuously, then you may want to replace your CMOS battery. When it starts to die, your clock will start running behind.

I don't see how that would interfere with your conversions, but one never knows. Might be worth a shot. If you're not familiar with CMOS batteries, they're just watch batteries and you can find one at local Walmart or jewelry store for roughly $5-$6.

Hi dizzyduck,

Yeah the only time it looses time is when I use the converter. I'll try the battery thing though. Couldn't hurt. Surprisingly, I do know where it is. Do I need to shut off the tower before changing or does it need to be left on?

Someone once told me that if that battery died I should just throw my pc away???? That I would loose everything. I didn't think that made sense...lol.
