Hey doods! I just burned Sonic Unleashed on a Sony DVD-R (non accucore) at 1.0x with alcohol 120%, and my PS2 doesn't seem to load it. I'm using swap magic 3.6 and everything goes fine until I press "X" to load the game. The screen proceeds to go black to load it but it doesn't. I got to the loading screen but no sound and then it went black but with sound (an annoying beeping sound) and then it didn't budge from there. Any ideas on what might be the problem?

Try burning the ISO with ImgBurn instead, see what that does.

No, he's right. It does the same thing with mine and I burnt mine with ImgBurn at 4x on a Verbatim DVD-R.

It loads the game, it'll go to the data creation screen. I create the game data and then it tries to load into the game but the laser makes these clicking noises and the game itself never loads.

Is there something special about the ISO for this game?

I've played and beaten the PAL version.

Are you two running the NTSC version? If so, try running the PAL version.

Does it come with a frequency selector?

No, although it runs fine on my Television and looks even better when you patch it with the PAL 2 NTSC software.

I think that the frequency should match an NTSC Television, at 60Hz.

Message to all: I DID get a working copy eventually after getting another disc.

So...word to all of you...change your ISO. I don't care how you got it or whatever but the game does work as a backup...you just have a crappy ISO.
