I just ran into (what I think) was a knockout deal - 47" LCD full 1080p with 2 HDMI ports. This was an upgrade (as far as I know) of my current TV - 42" Plasma 1080i with 1 HDMI port. Both TVs are Sabre brand (kinda wanted to leave that part out). So I bought the 47 for $700 today and I'm going to set it up this evening. My question is regarding the 42; with the 47 in house I'm thinking of putting the 42 on ice.
We stay in an apartment and just don't have the space here for two 40+s. I'm thinking of putting the 42 in storage and not using for the next 2-3 years; the question is will it afect the plasma in a negitive way? Basically if 3 years down the road I go to turn it on will it still work the same or is that too long to go without having it in use? Any info you can pass would be great, thanks.
