hey

Just wanting to get into the blue ray generation and was considering getting an external blue ray drive so i can use it to read movies and save them to my computer and then move that same external drive to my laptop connected to my tv. My only question is how does the drive put out 1080? does it have an HMDI port i can run to the tv or does my computer need a HMDI port? heres the drive I was considering http://www.buy.com/prod/external-bd-rom-.../208123033.html

Or would my VGA port from my laptop work just as good as HMDi
