Multiple Operating System Wont Boot

I have xp and Vista on my computer. When the computer started it used to asked me which OS I would like to boot from, then my xp crashed and I had to use the recovery partition to get it back to normal, now when my computer starts it just goes to the xp side and does not give me a choice on witch OS I want to boot from. The partition for the vista OS is still there and all the files look like they are still in tack I just cant get it to boot from that partition.

Sounds like its turned off the start up screen option.

In the operating system that is automaticly starting up, do the following:

- Click Start
- Click Control Panel
- Double-click System.
- On the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.

From there you should see an option box which says something like 'Time to display list of operating systems'.

Make sure this is checked and says something like 30 seconds.

I did what you said and the vista OS is not even showing up in the OS select menu. I wonder if there is some sort of boot file missing in the vista OS?

go download Vista Boot Pro.

burn a cd of it.

boot with the cd in.
