For some reason, my Bios screen recently came up needing a password whereas it hadn't in the past and I dont think I ever set one. Anyway, I found this freeware:
http://files.filefront.com/Eleventh+Alli...;/fileinfo.html
but, being my 1st time trying to use this or any program like it in the cmd.exe. I dont understand how to "call ?bios320.exe? to the command line (I saved the executable file to my C drive)" (this is from the instructions on the site. How do you call programs in this screen? I've researched and still cant figure out how to do it.

What type of Bios do you have?
is it any of the following?
VOBIS & IBM
Dell
Biostar
Compaq
Enox
Epox
Freetech
IWill
Jetway
Packard Bell
QDI
Siemens
SOYO
TMC
Toshiba
If you Bios is any of the above then there is a standard password that can be used.

The easiest way to reset the bios is to remove the Mobo/CMOS battery.....Its quick and easy and works %110
1. Unplug you Pc form the mains
2. Unscrew the side panel of your PC, so you can access inside the tower
3. Look for a small battery that looks like the one in the links i've provided

http://www.infopackets.com/graphics/cmos+battery.gif
4. Remove the battery, for a couple of minuets.
5. Replace the battery
6. Replace the panel, Boot you computer, and then access your BIOS settings....They will be set to the defult Settings.
