I am wondering if there is any way to make the selecting of where to place the layer break in a movie an automated process when ripping a DVD with DVDFab Platinum? Like I normall like to be able to pop in the source disc in one drive and pop in my burn disc in my other drive, hit the start button and come back when it's all done. But unfortunately the process that is holding me up is having to come back halfway thru the rip and select where to place the layer break. Is there any way around this? I am ripping all my movies to dual layer discs. Below is a picture of the screen that I am talking about.

Do you have DVDFab set to remove the original LB?

Hmmm not that I am aware of. Where would I check to find that? I don't think that I can NOT have a layer break seeing as how I am using dual-layer discs though.

After reading your post again I realize that your issue is with ImgBurn and not with DVDFab. As far as I know, there is no way to change that. ImgBurn lets you choose where you want the LB. I'll look into it some more.

In the pict you posted there is a column labeled SPLIP.
If there was a layer break, you would see a NO in there.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Damn I'm retarded lol, yeah sorry man I completely forgot that that screen shot was of IMGBURN. I just use DVDFab to run the whole process so I didn't even think about it like that.

When you said something about the SPLIP field being as NO that means there would be a layer break, I'm not sure I follow. If you'll notice that screen shot that I posted is of the actual screen that IMGBURN brings up allowing me to choose WHERE I want the layer break to be at. Those fields are all selections that I can make in order to choose where I want the layer break to be at on the disc. If you notice how some have yellow stars, those are supposedly the better ones to select vs the other fields.

Yes those are the better choices.
What I was saying is that your screenshot does not show a layer break. It was most like removed by DVDFab. Check your DVDFab settings. There is a check on the upper right of DVDFab. From there you can change your settings.
