Should I update my Motherboard to a better one. I can't find the specs for it, but it's a good one. Is it worth the amount to spend it. I am stingy, but if you think it's absoloutly nesceary to upgrade the mobo so that the other parts can work, i can probably buy it.

Probably not worth upgrading your motherboard at this point. It looks like AMD will be introducing phenom II's sometime in the spring so there isn't any point of moving up a chipset without upgrading your CPU when the new line will be out in a few months.
