My Blue Planet, Seas of life disc1 has a very low volume on the main features. The extras however are fine. I ripped it to my HDD and am now searching for a tool that will allow me to adjust the volume so it is comparable to the rest of the disc. (I would like to do this without demuxing/muxing or recoding then re-recoding as can be done with Nero)However I appreciate any suggestions.

Hi...

If you really don't want to re-encode, then you can play back the files with Media Player Classic as distributed in the K-Lite CoDec Packs...
This player will play VOB, AVI or MPEG Files...
The options include a Normalise (Normalize to all you Americans) feature which will allow playback at a comparable volume...

You don't have to bloat your computer with some codec pack just to install MPC, you can install it by itself.

I was hoping for a tool that would just give me the same vob file with a louder volume. I want to burn it as a dvd for random viewing. I would prefer to not keep the vid files on my hdd for too long. Thanks for your suggestions.

No demuxing, no re-encoding...I think what you're looking for is a magic wand.

Hmmm.... A magic wand... I saw one in Sky Mall. It was the Harry Potter model. I guess I'll have to order it. Thanks for your suggestions. Demuxing it is.
