I got vista and xp...Now my vista is totally corrupted so i wanted to remove vista from the system...Can i just format the drive in which vista is installed?..wil it affect the boot windows selection screen at the start?

you might have to remove the vista bootloader (fixmbr/fixboot) to get xp to bootup.

thank you...did perfectly...only one thing dint remove those boot flder and recyle folders left it like tat
