Avast antivirus found a virus I removed it but when I restarted it found the same virus. when I sent it to chest a error came up saying the dll could not be run because it was missing I am posting the hijack log both items 020 are the culprits. but I did notice something at an another instance finding the sys32.dll as a virus I navigated to where the suspect file was located. Now I pressed no action on avast and just like that the file disappeared! I restarted the computer and repeated the action and again it went poof! gone, its like it runs then disappears. Please advise

Fix entries using HiJackThis

Launch HiJackThis
Click the Do a system scan only button
Put a check next to the entries listed below (if they still remain)

O4 - HKLM\..\Policies\Explorer\Run: [Lsass Service] C:\Documents and Settings\Garfield\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows\lsass.exe

O20 - Winlogon Notify: c001DC1A - c001DC1A.mat (file missing)

O20 - Winlogon Notify: sys32 - sys32.dll (file missing)



IMPORTANT: Do NOT click fix until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now
Click the Fix checked button and close HiJackThis


Delete Files on Reboot

Start Hijackthis
Click on the Config button
Click on the Misc Tools button
Click on the button labeled Delete a file on reboot...
A new window will open asking you to select the file that you would like to delete on reboot.
Navigate to each file and click on it once, and then click on the Open button.

Note: you may not be able to find sys32.dll as it shows as missing already??

after the reboot,

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
? At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
? If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
? Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
? When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
? Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. <-- Don't forget this.
? When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
