I downloaded m3u playlist file and i need to rip it. IF winamp can play the file by conencting to the server then it should be possible to rip it. The file on m3u refers to is wma format.

Have you tried copy'n'pasting the entries from the m3u files to some download manager like net transport?

If this doesn't work, you can always rip to uncompressed .wav using a diskwriter plugin for winamp - or if this doesn't work for some reason, totalrecorder for capturing winamp's output.
