I have a winfast tv2000xp expert tv tuner card, and the sound doesn't come through my speakers. The only way I can get it to works is if i tell audacity do record from my aux line, and use software play through. no matter what I do, windows will not play my aux in directly through my speakers, even through any other program can record from that line. why is this? my windows sound mixer is set so that the aux line is unmuted, yet the sound does not play from my speakers. any ideas?

Get a phono-to-stereo jack and connect it to your line in/mic in?
