hey guys, here recently my mouse has been acting crazy. I'll be moving it around and suddenly it'll jump all over the screen opening and closing programs. if i take my hand off of it and dont try to fight it, it'll stop. i have avg and it scans every day and hasn't found anything. my computer perfomance sucks though, it runs slow, programs freeze, i can't click on things sometimes so now im wondering if i have some kind of virus. any ideas? i hate to take it to a shop if it's something i can fix.
Check or have someone check your memory sticks. I had the same thing happen when one of my memory sticks wasn?t seated properly.
Try another mouse and reinstall the mouse driver..

I don't believe this is a virus. I've had this on several computers. Does the cursor seem to want to go to the top right, and will fight you for a few seconds before letting go? My suggestions are (if you haven't done so):
Look at your mousepad, if it has any kind of reflective surface, use a different one. Things with shiny/reflective surfaces do mess with your mouse.
