I've updated FireFox less than a month ago. Since that update, everyday I power up my Laptop I get this annoying BLUE SCREEN thing. It only happens once a day, but it's so irritating.
The Blue Screen has this code thingy:
*** STOP: OXOOOOOOO5
(OX7OB31O15, OXOOOOOOO2, OXOOOOOOO1, OX81FO8886)
Collecting data for crash dump...
Initializing disk for crash dump...
I don't know what they mean, is it bad?
I've uninstalled firefox. I've removed all personal data and add-ons etcetera... and reinstalled it. The damn BlueScreen still pops up. What do I do?
I've read somewhere on the net (erased history) that people in my situation should Zip Up 'mini dumps' (blue screen related) for someone to check, should I do that?
My Laptop is a 32-bit Operating System and it's Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1.
Please help me out here, I'm really no expert at this. Thank you.
I can't find any reference to that error code on google, weird. You sure you wrote that down exactly as it was?
Anyway, I would uninstall firefox completely. Then install ccleaner, download free from run the cleaner then go to tools and and run the registry scanner, choose to fix the errors and make sure you make a back up, repeat the proccess until no registry errors are found.
Now go to the windows update site and install all the express updates that show up.
Now try it again, if you still have the problem try to get more info here about the error code, it might be that you have a hardware problem with your ram or motherboard.
