Has anyone seen an occasional icon of a "movie camera" appear followed by 1/2. Almost as to say this movie disk 1 of 2. This happened when I backed up Lion King 1.5. On disk 1 when i play it in my set top DVD player .. this dumb little picture of a movie camera shows up in the top right screen on the picture. It comes and goes. However on the PC ..I don't see it. What gives??

Anyone got an idea or has seen this happen.

I agree. It sounds like an icon being displayed by the player. At least that's the only time I've seen anything like that.

It's a mutliangle indicator.
You are viewing angle 1 of 2. Not all of the movie has multiangles so it only appears when the option is available.
You can almost certainly turn it off from the setup screen of the player.

Thanks for response. I will go into setup of my DVD Player tonight and see if I can turn something off. Other movies I burned did not show this and the fact that a PC does not display this ...made suspicious of the set top player.

Hi "malum" ...Yes it seems to be exactly what you said. When it came on the TV screen I clicked an "angle" button on my remote and it changed to 2/2.
Unfortunately, there seems to be know way to tell set top DVD player "NOT" to display this. I tried setup ..but nothing relates to Angles. I will have to try on another set top to see if it displays automatically. I'm also wondering if while using DVDShrink I somehow mixed up different angle versions of the movie??
Thanks.

It is the multi-angle indicator, when you click on it a separate screen comes up (kinda like a picture in picture thing) most of the dvd's have footage of the people making the commentary as they go with it, you can easily turn it off from your dvd player settings menu.

If If what you're about so say is not as beautiful as silence itself... Stay quiet
