I want a blu-ray drive for my laptop so I can copy the discs to my HDD then convert them to .mkv or .avi files to play at my leisure.

My question is, what is the best option? I have found a drive that looks decent and is cheap, but I am not sure I am making the right choice. I have been converting DVDs using DVD Decrypter and AutoGK, but is it as simple to convert blu-rays that way?
