I recently flashed my parents eurovox (2006 version blue) with the new software updates at my friends flat. It worked fine and so i connected it back up to my parents tv (all connections are correct) and it worked for about 5 secs then the screen went blank with the message SERVICE UNKNOWN. I rechecked it with my friend and it works on his. I then installed it into my own tv and i get the same problem but my official cable vm box works ok. I have flashed this box before without a problem so I'm totally lost as to what could be the issue. Its obviously related to locations but other than that i can't think of anything

Have you actually tried to set it up at you parents house they may be on a different frequency, i.e. Telepest 6952 Anti Hell 6887, what distance are you looking at. The best thing to do is make sure your parents have a live cable feed, if so, then do a Factory Default and Powerscan on the correct frequency at your parents house, ther does not seem to be anything wrong with the box.
Hi malci, thanks for the advice, I reset the frequency and did a factory reset and its back to normal. Wouldn't have known thats what it needed without your help. cheers
